Misha Hercules is Canadian-American music producer, songwriter, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of experience working with a diverse array of artists– from Hozier to Kendrick Lamar, Maggie Rogers, Steve Lacy, Wavves, and countless others.
 

Misha offers a wide range of services spanning multiple genres, tailored to the specific needs and workflow of your project– whether you’re a singer looking for a hands-on collaborator to build a track from the ground up, a band in need of an objective set of ears and some recording know-how, or an artist wanting to take your own production to the next level with professional mixing and mastering.

Professionally recording since age 18, Misha honed his craft in Los Angeles, landing a 5-year position as chief engineer and assistant to multi-Grammy winning music producer, Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello, The Hives).

Misha has had the privilege to work alongside many top producers like Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend, Clairo), Inflo (Adele, Michael Kiwanuka), Espionage (Beyonce,Train), Rob Kirwan (U2, Hozier), Jim Eno (Spoon, Tennis), and Sonny DiPerri (Animal Collective, My Bloody Valentine).

Classically trained in piano, guitar, violin, and organ, Misha has toured extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia as a member of Cayucas, Dent May, and Dead Gaze, and shared stages with Spoon, Carly Rae Jepsen, Echo & the Bunnymen, Alabama Shakes, Mac DeMarco, Beach House, The Zombies, and Smash Mouth.
